a beautiful soul has soared away
on the gossamer wings of angels;
even though we miss her smiling face
Heaven is now an even better place,

and we are better for having known her;

moved by the Spirit to help found this church,
her personal touch remains all around us
from the Garden of Eden-like property she found
to her handcrafted signs on these Holy grounds;

her warmly felt spirit remains within us;

but now it is time for Barbara to rest
she has done her best, passed all the tests;

eventually we'll all meet up with her again
together we will say a prayer
and she'll prepare
us a game of Dominoes'

sister Barbara, you bask in the Glory of God
and rest in eternal peace
