Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
Title says it all.

Just Another Love Lost

by livelylinda

she boldly stepped from the quagmire
directly into the quicksand
driven by the need of love she sought
without forethought
as introductions carefully hid
the other's true intent

trustworthy soul once more deceived
played without a twinge of regret
and with mindset of innocence
although quite guilty
loving words dissipate into air
actions don't speak at all
