Would you do it?

I made a deal with the devil to be the fastest gun in the world. It was fun; I killed anyone who blinked and a few who didn't. I traveled far, gained fame, respect, and notoriety. I ignored the vast majority clothed in their robes of righteous indignation; so positive the conclusion to my tale, obvious. When it comes time to pay the piper, I'll pay up with no regrets. This is not that story.
