Morning's cradle...

by royowen

Yes, even in the darkest night
still shines the brightest star
and though your thoughts be black as coal,
hope's shining spire's not far.

For in the valley deep and cold
the ground will rise to meet
that mountain with its towering peak
to hope's majestic seat.

And through the striking morning light,
the dew light sparks the day.
To harmonies of dawn's bright song
morn's cradle starts to sway.

So written on time's daily flight,
lurk souls of life unique.
God's gifted to the sons of men --
the depths of life's mystique.
