Soulful Morning

I venture out my door into the November cool. The crisp air flows into my lungs like a breeze off the ocean. I walk toward the neighborhood park. Silver tipped cloud mountains reside in the east. Squirrels scamper about searching for fallen berries and nuts.

Sun rising silence
geese cruising high overhead
bring peace to my soul
