Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
A picture-perfect day

Chocolate and Chardonnay

Dark chocolate with chardonnay
is lovely like a rose.
Sweet chocolate is poetry --
fine Chardonnay is prose. 
 
And when you add that special touch
of friends and family,
you have the best that one can serve
for all eternity.
 
So pass the fudge and stoke the fire --
I’ll pour the Chardonnay.
Reciting verse and sharing rhyme --
my picture-perfect day.

After writing a somber sonnet and a dinner rant - I thought of something a little lighter for this snowy day in western NC. A day around the fireplace with friends and family and my favorite chocolate and Chardonnay. I know that Chardonnay is a white wine, but I couldn't find a picture that I liked with a white. haha
