Gunplay

by Deniz22

Tex strapped on his six-shooter, jumped on Champ, and spurred him into a gallop. The bad guys had gone that-a-way, and Marshall Jim Tex was on them like a mama bear on a fresh salmon.

Champ flew across the ground, leaping fallen trees, and gaining on the gang. Tex coolly shot bad guys from the saddle, victims of the best gun in the West.

Finally, only Tex and the gang leader, Jake Blood, were left. They got off their worn-out horses and faced each other, guns ready.

An hour later, all was still, and Tex's Mom picked him up and put him to bed.
