Dottie Got A Kitty

by Ogden

(After reading poem to child, see author's note below.)

Dottie got a kitty when she was three-years-old;
Named her kitten 'Sneezy,' because he caught a cold.

The next year, Dottie was four, and Sneezy was one;
Dottie and little Sneezy had oodles of fun!

And when Dottie was five, Sneezy, who grew, was two.
One year later - Now, how 'bout that!.....Sneezy's a CAT!
