Writing Prompt Write a three-line poem of seventeen syllables OR fewer. You may choose any topic. You may present your piece any way you choose, but it must be three lines only. No author's notes EXCEPT to thank an artist for the artwork. NO words in the artwork. The description line should read, "Three line poem" or "Contest entry", but nothing describing or explaining the piece. The three lines MUST stand on their own along with the title. Yes, the title IS an important part of your piece. No it doesn't count as part of the seventeen syllables. (just to be clear) Ten bucks, so there's something to split up, yes? |
