Made by the Hand of God

by poetsteve15

Save me O God, by your name, judge me by your name. Psalm; 54-2
Made by the Hand of God
I have a feeling that our lives
are one big puzzle, we don’t know
how many pieces we’ve got, there
are people who don’t quite fit in.
Some people who try but they just
don’t have it in them for some reason;
we’re constantly adding more pieces,
to the memories of things, we’ve been
I know we all have our own puzzle
there will be somewhere I won’t fit in;
don’t you dare to make your piece smaller,
just so that you can live there for a bit.
If you keep cutting off all your edges
you will find one day just who you are to be;
you will soon forget the person you once
were and who should have been yourself.
Oh, please make the most out of your puzzle,
it’ll be a grand master-piece when it’s done
because you and all of this could only be
made by the hand of God, my friend.
