This work has reached the exceptional level
More than heaven.

by Susan Chetcuti

As night brings a change to the moonlight glow,
like velvet she flaunts shade much paler than snow.
This scene sets a tone switching on candlelight,
touch finer than silk showering petals of white.

In the presence of silence she whispers his name,
the dark steps aside, resting dim by her flame.
He basks in her rapture of heavenly lure,
and melts in the moment of something so pure.

His tears fall in motion with heaven delight,
she blankets him gently, wings hugging so tight.
Caught up in her aura, it stages beyond,
if love quelled existence it won't part this bond.

Their gaze ever holding by passion divine,
this wonder more precious than life without time.
For even the depths won't give up on their own,
in sending his Angel a journey back home.
