About my life

A chapter in the book Country Road

Ragged but Rugged

by GWinterwin

Well my boots are ragged, my feet are sore
But I just keep on walking ,not keeping score
My horse is lame and his shoes are worn
He's still the best horse that was ever born

Road ahead is rugged every step for sure
But the good Lord gonna do a miracle cure
The days ahead is something I don't dread
If it wasn't for God's love I'd already be dead

I hear voices up there in the cold north wind
Sounds like a message the Lord would send
Keep on plugging away the words seem to say
I'm right here beside you every step of the way

So me and my horse keep moving straight ahead
Always ready cause I know what the lord has said
God is faithful and always there on our side
So back in the saddle and we continue to ride

We wont give up but we'll keep on the trail
Knowing the good Lord will never ever fail
So with ragged boots out on a rugged trail
Giving God the glory through a stormy gale

No matter what life throws at us we must continue to plug along.
God and our loved ones love us, so me need to be courageous.
Positive thinking is good medicine, it has a great healing effect.
