Inside Passage

humpback whales perform
along Juneau's shoreline
tails announce deep dives

Mendenhall Glacier
is flanked by Nugget Falls
climate change in action

Ursa Major waves
in Alaska's skies and flag
bear and North Star shine



I just realized I had one more set of glimpses to share from my Alaska trip. Ursa Major is a constellation in the northern sky. Its Latin name means "greater she-bear" standing in contrast to nearby Ursa Minor, the lessor bear. Thank you for continuing to travel with me.
