The mess on my desk does its best to attest
To the fact that it needs tending to;
But alas, I detest all the mess on my desk
And the time it requires going through.
 
I don’t want to attack or to even keep track
Of the problems residing therein;
So I find I demur for I surely prefer
To do anything else not akin.
 
There is more to decide, although I’m glassy-eyed:
Do I keep my drug plan? Do I change?
And the “bundle,” you see, from old AT&T
Is not right: needs to be rearranged.
 
You have probably guessed that I’m very distressed
At the acumen lacking in me,
For I need to be bold and begin to take hold
Of this chaos immediately!
 
But it’s still sitting there, filling me with despair
‘Cause it’s so doggone pretty outside.
My convertible calls, so I think I’ll install
Myself in it and go take a ride!
