Kids on Halloween Night

Are You Scared Yet?

"TRICK OR TREAT!!"... the kids all yell out
They're scavenging for candy... that's what it's about!
Knock on each door..... they're all friendly... right?
(But remember..... be careful ..... it's Halloween night!!
 
Come here my child... come to my door
I have goodies and candies and goblins galore!
Want to come in and have a sweet treat?
I promise I'm nice and kids love to eat!

My black cat's real friendly.... she only eats dogs...
But sometimes at Halloween she'll eat little green frogs!
And my roaches are harmless.... they just eat my scraps.
Oh... you look a bit tired..... wanta' come in for a nap?

Pardon my dust.... can you hand me my broom?
I'll just sweep up these droppings left around in my room.
My rats can be messy.... my bats can be too....
And I want to make sure that I've cleaned up for you!

No wait... you can't go! We've so much to do...
Since Halloween last ......I've been waiting for you!
FINE! ... leave if you must..... but I'll see you next year.
I'll be waiting for you ..... you have nothing to fear.........
