A psychotic sickobsessive kind of love

I Love You Even When You Beat Me.

by Liberty Justice

The author has placed a warning on this post for violence.
I Love You even when you beat me and slap me around.
I Love You even when you knock me flat on the ground.
I Love You even when I catch you with another woman in our bed.
I Love You even though you told me you love her instead.

I Love You with a sick psychotic yearning--my soul mate.
I Love You with an obsession possession ever since our first date.
I Love You even when you stay out drinking all night.
I Love You even when you come home drunk looking for a fight.

I Love You even when you caved my beautiful face in.
I Love You even when I left you because I'd never win.
I Love You as I saved my life and walked out that door.
I Love You even though I hate that I will love you forever more.

I Love You Poem writing prompt entry
Writing Prompt
Write a poem of any style which is at least two lines in length. Each and every line in the poem must begin with "I Love You."

I wrote this poem about a woman I read about in the newspaper who had a sick possessive and obsessive type of love for this man. Romeo didn't love her, just used her for her money and ran all over her. Of court, Betty Sue moved on with her life, and she doesn't know where her lover is and she no longer cares, as she suffered pain no woman should ever have to bear.
