A man meets an old school friend

by oliver818

"Jakob Peterson? Is that you?"

The voice came from a smiling face.

"Yes. Who are you?"

"Don't you recognize me? I'm Lisa Havon. We were at school together."

"No, sorry. And if you don't mind, I have an important meeting soon." I still had forty minutes.

"Bye then," she said, turning away.

I read over my notes for the interview, then walked over to office building.

"Hi, I'm Jakob Peterson. I have an interview this morning."

"Certainly. Follow me, please."

"Lisa? Jakob Peterson is here for the interview."

"Good morning, Jakob. Again."

The friendly smile was gone now.
