Do not destory but construct

There Is No Easy Answer

There is no easy answer
Each mind is totally made up
Either no Historic Figures in our squares
Or suffer with painful memories

What are we to do?
Have no one open the mind?
Can an answer come to light?
Perhaps one viewed with sight?

Here is an idea to play with
Monuments should remain
Showing history has passed
Yet with New Monuments to grow

Do not destroy but construct
New Monuments beside the old
Showing the growth of US History
With minds that coincide in decency

This is an idea we should advance. Do not take down statues of history but construct new ones that show progress. Each State has heroes to honor in the movements from the Civil War to present day reality pf freedom.
