Lies mean nothing, give you nothing.

Hollow Words

there is beauty in truth
flawless, innocent as youth;
with truth we can live our lives
with peace and dignity

there is pain and dishonor in lies
something inside of us dies
as the ill-fated wind topples the house of cards
and suddenly our lives have no meaning

lies are a path with no destination
leaving you with a false sensation
hollow words with empty meanings
echo endlessly
