As the angel prays to open up the rose

Angels In The Morning

by Abby Wilson-hand

As the morning sun comes across
the meadow of yellow roses.

The angel prays to keep the rays
upon the rose that poses.

As the ray shimmers through a cloud
the scent flies through the air.

The angel prays unto her Lord
the meadow in which she's glared.

The dove that flies across the land
in silence, all white with a silver crown.

As the angel prays a heavenly prayer
for the yellow rose, as it doesn't make a sound.

Angels, a rhyming poem contest entry

Angel prays and sings a song to the yellow rose of glory.
