-17 syllables or less
-two grammatically interconnected lines of concrete imagery
-a satori (a moment of insight)
-personification allowed
-no author's notes
-no special effects whatsoever
-use fanstory's basic or advanced editor
-two color presentation (one for text, one for background)
-one illustration
