When friends betray,
When it’s time to pray,
May I echo You;
 
When faith they scorn,
For treasure mourn,
May I echo You;
 
When anger bursts,
Compassion thirsts,
When a life cannot be free,
 
May I echo You
In all I do,
That they might echo me.
