Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
62 years of life

Soul Searching

I fell into life one day
   Born of this world
      Created in another

Not knowing what lessons I needed to learn

What challenges I would face
   What dreams I would dream
      What people I would know

Not knowing who would
  Nurture me
    Love me
       Hurt me 
         Disappoint me
           Change me

My essence
   A combination of
    My Mother
      My Father
        Grandparents
          Ancient ancestors

Talents were a gift 
  Weaknesses a challenge
    Beliefs to be built
      Experiences to be cherished
        Pain to be lived 
          Choices to be made
            Life to be lived

Children were born
  An extension of my being
     A blessing to be cherished 
       So like me yet so different 
         So much stronger

Now Grandchildren
   Amazingly perfect in my heart
      Funny
        Brilliant

A new dynamic piece of the universe

My Soul will continue
   My Soul will grow
      My Soul is reborn

And every moment in my life
            had a purpose
