And They Say I'm Paranoid

Phobias Contest Winner 



 
As if I wasn't clever enough
to see you in the darkness
parked in the shade of the oak
just beyond the glaring
flickering streetlamp
but close enough for it to
reflect blindingly off your window
no ... I can't see inside
can't identify you if it comes to that
 
I can only imagine what your plan is
obviously, you'll bide your time, wait
until I drift off to sleep but, see, I'm on to you
I'm at the ready, I see you
from the bottom of my window

I have all night ...
