Let us give honor and respect to all mothers,

They have peopled the world,

Making us sisters and brothers.

All mothers, young or old,

Have given us their hands to hold.

All mothers, wed or unwed,

Will remain in our hearts,

Living or dead.

Mother, aunt, grandmother, sister,

Or even just a babysitter,

Have given us a part of themselves --

Their effort, their life, their strength, their time.

Let us revere their special day,
