Smart House Scam

I do not like this smart home scam,
I do not want it, Uncle Sam.

I will not cook eggs on a stove
That tells my fridge when last I drove!

These chipped appliances must GO-
The Internet of Things is my foe!

Who says Big Brother knows what's best?
Not me! I say-this is a test:

To see if those who have no brain,
Will let him spy and cause them pain.

I've had ENOUGH, Big Brother-hear?
I won't surrender-I'll never fear.

I do not like this smart home scam,
I do not want it, Uncle Sam.

All jokes aside, I will NEVER comply with such nonsense.

I do not want a smart house now, I will not want a smart house ever. I want classic appliances and furnishings with old fashioned character that are not designed to "spy" on me in my own home.

I get enough of Big Brother's surveillance while at work. My home is my sanctuary AWAY from spying eyes.

And I aim to keep it that way. Period.

I'm from Texas. Don't test me. :-)
