Having fun at the park

A day At The Park

by misscookie

Mary and her nanny went to the park
Nanny said."Mary, where should we start?"
She laughed so hard she could burst
'"Let's go to the monkey bars first!"

Nanny watched Mary she looked so funny
"Nanny, do I look like a monkey?"
Yes, but I'm glad you don't smell funky!"
"It's getting late, Mary, we must leave."
"Nanny, let me go to the swings, please?"

"Push me high enough to reach the blue sky
You can pusher harder, I won't cry."
"All the cars looks like toys to me.'
"Nanny, I see the tops of green trees."

Mary said. "Push me high to the sky.
To touch those soft white clouds floating by."

Nanny said "My body is hurting me so
It's time for us to really go."

"'I'm unable to push you any higher,

my back pains feel like real fire."

It surprised Mary to see Nanny's pain,
Her tears started flowing like gentle rain.
Mary held her head down low in sorrow,
"Lift your head, we will return tomorrow."
