Neon Signs

'Urban Poetry' ~ #1-215-B-C
Steam rises up from urban streets
cooled by steadily falling rain.
Colorful neon signs shine bright.
Puddles reflect them back again.

Street barrels burn with embers hot.
Vendors bellow at passersby.
City kids snuggle in their beds;
song mother croons is lullaby.
