Painting with watercolors is very calming to me.
Watercolor Calm

Needing to de-stress and let her mind rest, she picks up her container of watercolors and her favorite brush. Paper now wet; spattered with salt. Imagination awaits! Purple is her first choice. Dark goes the streak of color as it grabs the water. Speckled blush lavender remains. Calm now!

I love creating and painting with acrylics and watercolors and I find it very relaxing and calming to escape into my craft room and just let my imagination take me somewhere I had no idea I was going there.
