The Missing Minnow

Laid out on the floor, all sprawled, my brand new "ABC" cards & little 'ole me.
My sisters, nowhere to be found, not like I actually needed their help anyhow.
Not more than 4 or 5 years old, but already knew my ABC's, so this was easy!
Over & again though at a point, I sat there stuck, staring puzzled at my cards.
That's the day I learned that "minnow" wasn't what came before the letter "P".

My step mom, who was the one that finally found me sitting there on the floor very much confused (& likely ready to cry thinking I was missing a card from my brand new deck!) - she LOVES telling this story to this very day!! :)
