...death came suddenly

Dead to This World

I knew I had a fixed time to go,

what day, hour and how I didn't know -

I woke up, it was a lovely day

All was just fine, I was on my way
-
...to help a friend who was not quite well

Off I went for... she had much to tell

Suddenly, confused...all went blank

then a light came, I had God to thank

An angel came and guided me in,

there's no way now, to get to my friend

I woke up dead, dead to the world

Now in heaven - Gates dazzlingly  pearled
