Autism Awareness

Stop Contest Winner

My grandson, with Autism loves to be outside. His name is Calob, he's every thing to me. My first born grandchild, my love, my friend. One day he was outside and playing, he usually plays with the same toys every day. If any of the other kids touch his toys he cries and it breaks my heart to see him cry, he does not talk. Calob knows a little bit of sign language, it's easier that way. Calob will be eight years old soon he is a big boy. One day we were having a picnic outside calob was playing we were all talking, net thing we know Calob was missing no where in the house not on the porch. I was so afraid someone had taken him. He loves the horses so I ran way out back to where the horses were and he was ready to go under a weed burning electric fence. I yelled Calob, Calob as he looked at me I had yelled stop. He turned to me and ran towards me. I was crying of fright, he was safe with grandma at this time and had a great picnic after.
