As we see our selves in the mirror

Reflection of Life's Face

by Yvon

Reflected image
This face has changed
Lines of repercussions
Wrinkles of laughter
This face has aged

Acceptance
Eyes dilate
A Hand grasps a brush
Each stylish pass, delivered
Hairs fall in the sink

This reflection bare's witness
Of turmoil
And true bliss
United in one image
Which the mirror never missed
