Everything I loved about him is in my box of love

A Box Full Of Memories

by Abby Wilson-hand

In this little box holds a whole lot of memories and tears.
As the top so smooth from me rubbing it every single day.
I look inside hoping it was just a dream.

One of the worse dreams I have ever dreamed.
You see in this box are things that I hold deep in my heart.
For I lost my beautiful horse, on the blackened road last year.
For seven long years I spent all my free time with him.

He was the only thing that would take my blues away.
It tested my heart and soul, so everyone was there.
For he was my Lord and Savior every single day.
I knew that God had sent him to help me through some pain.
Now all I can say is God took my friend from me.

Now I sit in my chair, every day ,hoping that theses tears will go away today.
When I open this box I pray, pray that he still thinks of me.
As I think of him, looking in my box of memories it's my favorite time of day.

Its been only a year and the box sits next to me.
I look at his pictures hanging on the wall.
His soul means so much to me , as the box full of memories.
It's the most prized object in my home to stay.
