100-word flash fiction story: The first kiss of two strangers
I was just back in the city after years in Peoria, and hadn't been alone with a single woman in weeks.
At the apartment door of my blind date, I felt like a teen. We had been "fixed up" by an old girlfriend. Ann had seen my picture, and was very anxious to meet me.
I rang her bell, the door flew open, and Kismet! We instantly fell in lust, and embraced! But we didn't kiss.
She said, "Come on, let's skip the preliminaries!" and pushed me into the bedroom. We kissed an hour later.
Then I awoke in Peoria.
