Tiger

by magic dragon

I'm sad-
I should be glad
living in my jungle;
what's that! I hear a rumble.

I'm alone,
I have been left with a particular zone.
Looking around in my jungle
I seem to be in battle.

Why is this happening to me?
Are you all too blind to see,
I love my home.
I want to feel free to roam.

The sun is shining and I look around,
this does astound,
I don't see
many of my kind, this is my plea!

How I wish
to play and hunt without anguish,
to hear another tiger's roar,
my heart will soar.

My baby cubs hear jungle sounds
in the background,
darting here and there
without a care.

I have my family.
They are the key
to our future existence in our jungle.
Please stop the tree clearance, I want to be hopeful.

I cry a tear at night in fear and
I know I have to fight, so here I stand,
protecting my family from getting hurt and
if they did, I would die without them on my land.

I am a creature of God and
my species here in Thailand-
all over the world, we are diminishing,
-I thought I would be king.-
