Life's Timeless Winds

by jaybird1

Life's timeless winds blow to their distant space.
These winds oft blow us from our chosen path.
Our winds of time will e'er too soon displace
the joy, the beauty that a lifetime hath.

The blooms of youth, too soon are blown away,
though oft they linger in our memory.
Our timeless winds must ever have their say
as we move forward for our destiny.

Hark! Now we hear, the winds are calmer now,
our time draws near, life's final dreams are gone;
As we prepare to take our final bow,
though we be done, the timeless winds blow on.

May I, for all who follow after me,
by  some kind thought or deed, remembered be.
