Pretend Ruler

A chapter in the book Act of Endurance

Play God

Another hot day stun it ending slowly to come, tingling time sun with top large trees this fun soon, tell men to drag I see tired farm workers.

Shadows out the dark forming heads shapes, ascending tops to high arch shoulders up rises, sided their hops seen on old rags I view bops.

Their acts wobbling to rock through weeds, at cry close loud demand to heeds, yelled deeds by this voice angry aim at my mother a gesture.

A bully furiously he to yell shouting threats to, raging to tell thoughts felt in the wind echoed, told insane sharp hate whip held cracks a bell.

Whip it no strap sight but sound of pop heard, swirled with again line top the snap popping a stop, vanish its cap in a thick unknown silent.

Voice spoke out more view to see mother fall, seeing this whip strike afar above her air core, deny a woman plea is big lore it of the master.

My shame limits to tip endured defeat, inside framed up fire fiery fury to rip at me, wet a drip fallen there out to drop watching slowly a tear.

Heart perceives lack it by others by evil deeds, depart rather far from it using as answer pain, serve part truth a trust in love put compassion.

King upon a hill the act of endurance reasons, put confidence in pride to fall, perceived being over others no thought had of sharing equality.
