All Is All - Is One

by mfowler

I watch the butterfly emerge,
with dampness on its wings;
from fragile state to flying grace
to grandeur of the Spring.
I see the child so tiny born,
to innocence so meek;
a tiny clone of history's face
on pink and bonny cheeks.
I stare among the crystal stars
agog in total awe,
and ponder what is human's place
beyond our darkened door?
I see these things and feel their hearts
and smell the breath of God.
I hear the footsteps - know his pace
upon the ground once trod.
Through love all things are duly bound
like cells within each form.
But none are wrong, or lost, misplaced,
so perfect were they born.
I know through faith that life is mine
and all is all - is one.
I feel the balm of God's embrace
round everything bar none.
