Grief

by Dawn Munro

Grief

Sometimes all we can do is
put one foot in front of the other and hang on...
But when we do, something amazing happens;
minute by minute, day by day,
the pain lessens...

You taught me how to love, you know.
I know you think it isn't so,
But every day with you was bliss,
A cherub's touch -- an angel's kiss.

Watch over me and guide my path,
I pray to heal my awful wrath.
I've learned I'm worthy of respect,
To firmly stand, to walk erect...

Life is about learning how to love someone else,
but before we can do that,
we have to love ourselves...

As blessed Easter does arrive,
In spite of anguish, I've survived,
And so, like Him, I'll leave the tomb,
For I am fruit of Mother's womb...

Born again.

Ex. 20:12 -- "Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee."

To me, the most important thing about Easter isn't the fluffy, yellow chicks,
it's the life within the egg...

The Resurrection teaches us that it is never too late for Salvation...

He lives, and so must we...
