I'm compelled to let out a scream
A screeching, shrieking scream
Really long and loud

One shrill that bounces
Off of many others
Into the blue sky above
Getting lost in a cloud

Hurts pulling my hair
But my hair is silent
It's thick and curly

Scissors become an enemy
When stress overloads
Almost need a bodyguard
A stranger, big and burly

This craziness is not my own
It filters through thick air
Squeezing into my mind

Frustrating concepts
Fog and clog reality
No clear path in sight
Where to go now, can't find
