Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
Went back up that mountain

I'm The One

by A TARNISHED KNIGHT

Went back up the mountain
Was there just yesterday
Maybe to see if God was real
Or maybe just to pray

Again a voice came calling
It came from far above
Said '"come sit here beside me
Want to show you who to love"

Sat down on a boulder
Was no one there in sight
Felt a presence near me
Then again I saw a light

"When you saw that eagle"
A voice said soft but strong
"I'm the One who made him fly
Nary a thing went wrong"

"The leaves that were falling
So softly to the ground
I 'm the One who told you
To listen to their sound"

'Now that little chipmunk
With acorns in his cheeks
I 'm the one that gave him
His little scampering feet"

"And that white tail deer
That you had scared away
I'm the One that gave him speed
So he'll live another day'

"I'm the One gave everything
A reason to live and die
Even made this mountain top
So you could touch the sky"

"I have seen you sit here
As you ponder about your life
Even start to question me
Is there such a thing as Christ?"

"I Know where you've been
Know your problems well
If you put your hand in mine
Those problems you'll not dwell"

"Trust in me my Son
Invite me in your heart
I will guide your path
New life will have its start"

I stood up, the light was gone
The voice no longer there
A feeling then came over me
Did someone really care?

Don't have to climb a mountain
Like I did again today
Find out if Jesus loves you
Get on your knees and pray
