Scribble me on this tablet of stone

Speak not of the horror of recent days

Let this rock record my words engraved

Let my hope forever flow

Within your mind and heart and soul

Let my life be joined to yours

And yours to mine

Let our flagrant embrace contain the world

Let the fury of my passion

Burn into you

The depth of my love.
