Meaning of Life in 3-D

by BeasPeas

'More Opinions, Politics & Comments' ~ #17-401-B

Earth hurtles through space while on axis twirls.
Like it or not this is a material world.
Tangible assets we utilize and enjoy,
Because God granted us brains to employ.

And since we have bodies with needs to be met,
people keep striving to achieve and to get.
Still there are those who feel guilty for having.
They want to give way to those who are lacking.

But on 3-D earth we all have talents to use,
with the chance to hone them or risk to lose.
As long as our goods are not ill-gotten gains,
show no shame for what your initiative attains.

Meaning of Life writing prompt entry
Writing Prompt
Write a rhyming poem of 12 lines or less that explains the meaning of life.

Some people feel guilty for the good things in their lives. They've worked hard to attain them for themselves and their family. Charity is good and we must all be willing to help others, BUT each person must ultimately be responsible for himself/herself--to make good use of God-given talents they possess.
