Monica's waiting for you...

~Midnight DeMonica~

The stroke of twelve's upon you, for 'tis now the witches' midnight hour.

Do not gaze into the mirror...she's at the zenith of her power.

Cast all doubts on your reflection, the deadly demon's soul survives.

It's best to simply look away, or better yet, avert your eyes.

Your soul swoons with Monica's presence, she observes each breath you take.

Watching, waiting while you sleep, your very salvation's now at stake.

Faces seen within the mirror—could they not truly be her own?

Her ebony eyes stare back at you, turn your hardened heart to stone.

Wary should all male occupants be who e'er meet her scathing gaze.

Legs rigid, locked in wet cement, you'd better hope she never stays.

Do not blindly buy into her lie, my good man, you have been warned;

forever heed this cry — "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned!"

Monica was a weird chick, an old girlfriend of mine. But, that's a story for another time...

Monica, wherever you are -- this one's for you.
