This is a sarcastic poem about the way my daughters treat me

Just One Lucky Mother

by Sueswrite

I Am Not Perfect Contest Winner
I own a star that is set in stone,
That is walked on by only two.
The name engraved says, " Mom", alone.
How lucky I am. I never knew.

You see, these two were born to me.
They have grown to be adults.
It has taken years for me to see.
How lucky I am, the target of insults.

All this time, I thought I had failed.
Because my faults are never forgotten.
Each time the knife gets deeper impaled,
I should be smiling, when reminded I'm rotten.

I guess I'm just one lucky mother.
Who raised two girls to perfection.
Thank God they've got each other,
To strengthen their, "Hatred affection"!

Instead of getting upset when my girls say mean comments, I wrote this as a sarcastic "Heads up". Maybe they'll get the message.
