Where butterflies will roam

by Dutchie

Where butterflies will roam

Your voice will not be blown away
I wonder if I want it to
the door is closed after you left
now silence reigns without you.

Seasons pass so slowly now
hidden is the flight of my soul
A carefree life is waiting for me
Your return will make me whole.

If you will come back to me
a new season will embark
in which butterflies will roam
free souls,relieved from the dark.

But tell me, now time slides away
did I chase my dreams too fast?
or did butterflies die tragically
in the lap of the past.
