Victory Is The Name Of The Game

The Ride

by country ranch writer

There isn't a bull that's been rode
Or a cowboy that ain't been throwed
The bull was a big 2000 lb surprise
Ride him cowboy is what they all cried
Eight seconds on the back of a bull
He only lasted seven and he had to bail
There was a moment of wonderment
As the cowboy rolled from under him

Leaving the ring, hooves sounder like thunder
The crowd's all excited, looking on in wonder
The word spreads far from every city and town
The next rider's from afar hear the crowd's sound
Announcer walks into the ring, everyone's outside
Waiting for JB Mauney, to make his debuting ride
Nods his head to let him loose, outside
Rode Bushwacker to the end, his smile he can't hide
