Sent this to my sister who has everything
No Email Birthday Card

I cannot send you
an email birthday card.
One where, in the trees, birds are singing.
Where whirling flights of dragonflies
hover above the silent, fluttering of a butterfly.
One who waits patiently for a vacancy,
that's occupied with buzzing bumble bees,
on his favorite scented lavender shrub.
He flutters his wait to nearby golden rods
that edge the lily-pad-covered pond.
The birds still chirp amongst the trees.
No I can't send you a 3D, audio,
video birthday card.
I can only send you my words.
