The Soul Gardener

The Lord of Lords - King of Kings
Happy to tend His garden Eternity is His reward for us. Saviour of the world divine Our Lord tends the world Under His hand - living flowers Last days approaching now. Gardener bends to tend your souls Amongst the flowers - choking weeds Reading all the faces - living and dead Destructive weeds cut down living souls Ending life before it's begun New shoots choked by sin Everlasting Life He offers all Return to Him - The Divine Gardener of your soul. |

Three acrostic stanzas for the Acrostic Contest: Jesus tending the garden of souls - weeds represent dark souls needing attention - bright flowers represent life and love that the Gardener of Souls cares for. I have many medical problems and I know without Jesus holding me tight, I would collapse under the strain. Turn, turn, turn, again - He loves us all. It is so simple to say "forgive me and I am sorry for staying away, Lord."
